Colleen Kessler is a married, homeschool mother of four children ages 8-18. She has worked in the public school system and has a specialty in working with homeschool students. Her masters degree work has focused on the social and emotional needs of gifted students, particularly.
Colleen is the author of dozens of books for teachers, parents, and children, most recently Free Resources for Elementary Teachers {Prufrock Press} a compilation of over 200 pages of links and addresses for things K-8 homeschoolers and classroom teachers can get to use in their classrooms for free.
As an author, speaker, podcaster, and blogger, Colleen loves encouraging parents, teachers, and kids. She is passionate about raising children to be critical and creative thinkers, lifelong learners, and to pursue their passions. Colleen is an advocate for gifted kids and believes that those who parent our brightest kids need support, understanding, and of course… chocolate! :)
