Sophie Agbonkhese is a writer, a veteran homeschooling mother of four, a business owner, and a recovering overachiever (who occasionally relapses). She is the founder of My Cup Runs Over, a site dedicated to helping busy women simplify and enrich their lives, homes, and homeschools.
When she’s not writing or debugging websites, Sophie spends her time reading, walking, and generally trying to survive the cacophony that is her home. She lives in southwestern British Columbia with her husband, Ben, and their children.
On this episode, we talk about why Sophie is so passionate about helping kids pursue their passions and she shares examples from her experience as a homeschool teacher.
She gives tips and insights for other parents so that they can support their children, even if they don’t have the skills, experience, or connections to pursue those topics themselves. Sophie even shares words of encouragement for parents who are new to homeschooling or considering homeschooling.
